Term 2 Week 9:Oral Presentation

Dear Marists,

During this week , after your SA1, you will rehearse your Oral Presentation.
Next week, you will have your actual Oral Presentation.

Procedures for Oral Presentation

(1) All groups will be given 20 minutes to present their projects.
(2) All members in the group must speak.
(3) Please bring along all your products, powerpoint slides, video clips etc for the presentation.
(4) All groups will stay in the class for the presentation.
(5) The order of presentation will be as follows: Index nos. 1-4 will present first, then Index nos. 5- 8 , and so on.
(6) All groups must also post their powerpoint presentations and video clips on the GRACE BLOG.
(7) The Chairman for each class will also save all the powerpoint presentations in his MacBook and burn them on a CD which will be given to the GRACE Committee.

Outstanding Matters.

(1) For those groups which have not handed up their group reports, you have the June Holidays to refine and improve on your reports. Hand them up immediately when school reopens.
(2) If your products are not ready, you have the June Holidays to improve on the products, and submit them to your teachers when the school reopens.
(3) Remember that your reports and products command a significant amount of marks in your final grading.

Best Project Competition

(1) In each class, the best three or more projects will be selected for the Best Grace Project 2009 Competition.
(2) The groups will present at the Year-Head Assembly and prizes will be given to the winners. Bonus points will also be given to the prize winners.

Term 2 Week 7 to 8: Short Break for SA1

Term 2 Week 5: Learning About Oral Presenation

Dear Marists


You will be presenting your projects during the post exams activities (25 to 26 May 2009). (Check the GRACE calendar).

Come together and discuss what and how you are going to present. Your presentations will be assessed by a team of minimum 3 teachers. You may wish to check the assessment rubrics on the Oral Presentation.

Term 2 Week 4: Group Report Writing

Dear Marists


You should be starting to write up for your project reports.

You may wish to make use of "google docs" in writing the reports collaboratively among your members. "Google docs" is recommended as you can publish your reports on your group blogs, even it is still in working stage. You can use your gmail account to login to the google docs. (google docs can be access at http://gocs.google.com)
